As you can imagine continence isn’t the sexiest of topics. Which is why I’m exciting by the opportunity to bring awareness this very topic.
Sex can be an uncomfortable topic for health professionals to raise with their clients. However, being able to do so with more ease and confidence will benefit everyone involved.
Even when clients appear to be surprised by the topic they may also be relived that they are not the only ones struggling with this. It helps give them permission to raise the topic with someone further down the track when they are more ready to discuss and focus on it
